This next part is a little tricky and you may have to fumble forward. What you are trying to achieve is to get the wav file into MP3 format but need to check the format your particular Wireless Cell Phone is looking for.
Before Audacity can export audio to the MP3 format your Wireless Cellular Phone wants your Cell Phone Ringtone file to be in, you'll need to download the LAME library. LAME is open-source MP3 audio-compression software.
If this is beyond your capabilities just bite the bullet and buy the Cell Phone Ringtone.
